As you write, those involved in working on new Fogra characterization data and ECI profiles are more than busy. Creating new “laminated” char’ data and profile are just two of several steps. The challenge are thorough printing/lamination tests under day to day conditions in order to achieve good, production proven quality. This envolves printers willing to participate in production tests and Fogra/ECI collegues supporting these tests and evaluating the results. I.o.w.: The more users express interest, and the more users offer active participation, the better the chance to get new Fogra data and ECI profiles for a particular printing condition.
