Hi Ken
The Fogra Media Wedge is designed for proof control purposes, and therefore
not the idea colour strip or method of validating press sheets to ISO
12647/2.
Many companies have software solutions to validate press sheets.
Bodoni System can supply a 'Print Buyer' version of their PressSign soft
wear for around £300, (full version £1500-2500) which will work with an
existing EyeOnePro, rev b or greater, which will provide a much better way
of evaluating sheet sheets.
Give me a call if you need more info?

In addition to the previous suggestions, you could calculate the
desired Lab values from the ISOCoated icc profile (based on Fogra39
data)...or any other profile for that matter. Easily achieved with a
software like Colorthink Pro. For example, you could drop the
2x_MW2_FOGRA27L_SB.txt files into a ColorThink Pro worksheet, assign
the ISOCoated profile (or profile of choice) using absolute rendering,
and export a list of Lab values that you can then swap with the values
of the original 2x_MW2_FOGRA27L_SB.txt file (making sure to save with
a more appropriate name). With the text file still open, you can even
alter the delta E tolerance values (up or down, not adding new
criteria) and MeasureTool will reflect these changes when generating a
report. The benefit here is that you can customize the lab values to a
specific press profile should that be desired. This can also be
achieved by opening the colorbar image itself in Photoshop and
assigning the desired profile (ensureing absolute values are
displayed), but this requires updating values patch by patch.
There's some rounding errors involved in the above as it is icc based,
but these errors are usually quite negligible toward the dataset. This
is obviously less elegant than many other solutions available, but it
does allow some flexibility, and is an option for verification on
tight budget.

Hi All
Can I ask you a quick question please?
I have the task of checking running sheets for a dozen or so suppliers and
want use the Eye-One with Measure Tool 5 software from X-Rite
But.. I don¹t have the measurement table that is needed to test sheets to
FOGRA39. It¹s not in the software and I can¹t find it on x-rite website or
searching the web!..
I will be sampling the standard Ugra/FOGRA-Medienkiel CMYk-TIFF V2.0a. It
would be similar to the Œ2x_MW2_FOGRA27L_SB.txt¹ one which is installed with
Measure Tool, but with the FOGRA39 data.
In theory I could make one from the 1617 sets from the main lookup table
here http://www.color.org/FOGRA39L.txt if I knew which ones to use..
Any ideas?
Thanks
