Hello all (cc. Karl Michael Meinecke)
I have several international customers, which need information about the
usage of current FOGRA characterization-data and ECI profiles. They are
waiting for the document
"Media Standard Print 2010 - Technical Guidelines for Data, Film, Proof
and Production Print"
which is announced at eci website - english version for february 2010.
Is it still plannend to publish this document ?
Thank You for any informations

This is the only notification you will receive while this person is away.
Will you please remove me from your mailinglist.
We are tired from all those stupid mails wich has only to do with people
in need for a course color management.
En we are also tired, and I warned you already, of all this out of

Dear All
I am trying to measure a custom test chart using i1io and Profilemaker
Measure tool.
The problem is the test chart contains some text in it. When i1io reads the
chart, the data is transfered to the measure tool. Whenever the measuring
head measures the text, some problem occurs and the data transfer is
stopped. The measuring head quits measuring and Measure tool says "Too many
measurement errors". I used the custom chart option in measure tool to
measure this chart. Then, I created a reference file and tried. Same error
occured.
I am trying to find out whether there is a way to tell the measure tool and
i1io to skip certain patches and measure only the necessary patches. Is
there any way, I can put some command in the reference file and say measure
only these paches and skip these patches. I hope that I am clear. Please
help me in this
Best Regards
Anand

As I know, there is no way to measure certain patches and to skip
another patches in strip mode.
I think, there are two solutions for your problem:
1. Take the whole chart readings in iO patch mode, then waste
unnecessary patches.
2. Take measurements by i1 in patch mode.
