Hello Borislav,
- rendering intent
either perceptual (best result in most of the cases) or colorimetric
with black point compensation As you probably know black point
compensation is only available with the Adobe Color Engine or other
tools supporting black point compensation such as Heidelberg Color
Editor (Acrobat Plug-In).
- yellow decrease in dark tones:
Usually yellow ink is the last color (ink sequence in web/sheetfed
offset). Above a certain ink value yellow lightens up the color instead
of the intended effect. Just have a look at the color characterization
used for the new ECI profiles (Fogra 27 - Fogra 32). You can download
the data from
www.fogra.org, open in e.g. Excel and sort by L
(lightness).
Best regards,
Florian

Hi all,
I have downloaded the new ECI Offset profiles.
So my question is which type of rendering intent (Relative
Colorimetric or Perceptual) is most suitable with Iso Coated and Iso
Webcoated profiles.
By the way, I've noticed that while using Relative Colorimetric
rendering intent there is a "fall off" of yellow ink in dark tones.
(For L=0; a=0; b=0 yellow is 54%, but for L=5; a=0; b=0 yellow is 61%)
