If the ICC was for Non-Periodical screening, then I would understand
it. Although having said that there must be some way for the
alogarithms for the non-periodiacal screens to predict the dot-gain
and thus compensate for it eliminating the need for a seperate
profile? Or is it the secondary and tertiary colours that have
different cie-lab values as the pignent is not overlapping in the
same way that an AM raster does?
I had understood that the idea was to introduce a profile for high
frequency AM as well, perhaps this was a linguistic missunderstanding?
I do want to support the standardisation work, and hope you do not
take offence at me asking for clarity.
