Hi Jan-Peter and Joey, In the Netherlands and Belgium SCGM (Stichting Certificatie GrafieMediabranche) organizes the certification for environ- ment, working conditions (a.o. safety) and quality (ISO 12647-2). Quality is concentrated on PDF, proofing and printing according the international standards. (such as PSO/ISO 12647-2 and PDF/X-3 Ready) Printing and proofing according PSO/ISO 12647-2 is gaining acceptance. The auditing is done by IGT-Testing and/or the Belgian Institute VIGC. They got all kinds of support from the German Federation BVDM, the founders of Process Standard Offset. Both organizations were attending the "Amstelveen Meeting" where the International Printers Federation Intergraf promoted the usage of ISO 12647 standards. Fogra, IFRA, UGRA and other organizations agreed during that meeting to cooperate and to support Intergraf's call for process improvements based on standards. SCGM is Dutch but covers a lot of activities in other countries such as Belgium, Germany and the Far East. Quality (ISO 12647-2 certification) can be done in Joey's country too.
