Hi,
I presume that the tolerance values which John Campbell gave us, are
some standard ones.
I noticed that these are the default values given in EFI Color Verifier
from EFI ColorProof XF.
What I don't really understand (although this might me only my being
ignorant) are the "CMYK separation Delta E tolerance limits"
I got it set by default to 2.5 max peak for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and
Black.
Please help me to understand what these values are...
Thanks in advance

Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anybody would have any information on what delta e
tolerances different organisations are using with regard to the
maximum and average delta e differences between a proof and a printed
sheet, and also between proofs on a day to day repeatability basis.
The only thing I have been able to find is that fogra demand an
average of 4 and a maximum of 10 based on their media wedge. Does
anyone know what standards other bodies use, or have any relevant
information on what would be an acceptable standard to expect and why
(if possible)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
