Roger,
the CIELAB values for green and blue in FOGRA39 are *not* the same as in
FOGRA27. The values of ISO 12647-2:2004 Amd1 (2007) are modified in FOGRA39,
according to best practice results. This is in compliance with ISO
requirements. Secondaries (RGB) in ISO 12647 are informative, not normative.

Betreff: [ECI-EN] fogra39 dataset incorporating Amendment for Green and
Blue
Guten abend,
The following fogra web page introduce the updated fogra39 dataset which is
supposed to include the 2005 ISO-12647-2 amendment for the green (100C+100Y)
and the blue (100M+100C).
http://www.fogra.org/rss/blog0033.html
But when I download and open the fogra39 dataset and look up the CIE Lab
values for green and blue, the values in the dataset are still the fogra27
values (Green = 50 -65 27 vs 50 -68 25 and Blue = 24 22 -46 vs 24 17 -46)?
Any reason why the dataset has not been recalculated or updated?
Unless I really need a pair of new glasses ;-)
MfG,
Roger Breton
