Hello Steeve
The Status ANSI of instruments, refer to the filters that it uses.
In Argentina, we use ANSI T, which is in accordance with american standards SWOP, GRACoL
and G7 method.
At ISO 12647-1, Annex A.7 REFLECTANCE FACTOR DENSITIES AND RELATIVE DENSITIES, don´t
define any particular status.
only say that you must select one from STATUS E, I or T.
Anyway, you shall report which standard you have used in your measurements.

Asunto: [ECI-EN] Spectrophotometer settings
Hello all,
I am trying to take some measurements with a Spectroeye from Gretag Mc Beth and I am
confused on which settings to use.
I referred to the guide of the Altona Test book which says that the settings to use are
D50 illuminant, 2degrees. But it does not say anything about which standard to use, on the
Spectroeye there is 7 different standards:
DIN, DIN NB, ANSI A, ANSI E, ANSI I, ANSI T, SPI. Does anyone have any idea of which one
to use?
Thanks, Steeve.
