Dear Sir/Madam
We are currently using a PhaseOne H20 digital
camera back. We have been shooting images for the web offset print market.
With this we use the supplied colorsync profile Phaseone H20 product Flash.
We have found this a good base to start from regarding colour retouching to
the original products. We are now going into the gravure print market. As
you will well know this is a different end result. Is there an icc profile
suitable for our camera that we can use for the gravure printing process.
Regards
Mick

Hi Mick
Firstly I guess you are in RGB from the PhaseOne profile you are using. As a
camera profile, so probably not linear, so not a good retouching colour
space. Best you use this profile to convert to Abode RGB or ECIRGB as your
RGB working space for retouching.
Re the gravure icc profile, it will be CMYK. Most large gravure printers
have there own icc profiles, so check if your chosen printer has them
available.
This, as an CMYK profile cannot be used for your camera, so you will need
the to convert your RGB files to the chosen profile in PS.
Also the ECI web site carries many European printers profiles
