The use of this filter is to eliminate the effects from optical
brighteners in substrate.
But I cant find anything about the use of this filter in the ISO 12647-1
&-2, or the Medienstandard druck 2004
Or the documentation with the Altona test suite.
Is there any one who knows the relation UV cut filter to the ISO standard?

Hi Hans,
As Karl Michael Meinecke already stated, there is no relation.
No relation UV and ISO.
However for some applications the UV-measurements could be used to create
profiles for special substrates.
Recently I got the same question for a Pol (polarisation) filter
For printers the usage of a photospectrometer with Pol-filters is sometimes
an advantage.
One of the Dutch printers uses a Techkon SpectroDens to check their Altona
teststrip. The measurements are in Lab.
The output is needed to check the quality of their own proofs and supplied
proofs.
The printer uses the Pol-values (density) the check the process.
As you know most values are specified in Dry conditions. For certain
applications these Pol-values help to determine the Dry result.
