Does anyone know if these characterisation data that exists in USA are
available in .txt or .it8 form that can be opened e.g. with PrintOpen or
ProfileMaker?

For reading the colorimetric data into profilemaker, the delimiter of
the entries has to be changed from comma to tab with e.g. a textprocessor.

I visited the last [bap] meeting in Chicago last Sunday. There I
learned the the TR004 is considered as an "accident". I therefor
would recommend not to bother with these data. You might wait for
another half year or so for the upcoming GRACol7 data.
I you want to stay up to date about this process, please check out
the homepage at www.printingacrossborders.org and register there for
the maillist.
