Hello
I really find this press release unhelpful.
It does nothing to further the PAB aims and, at worst, cause a rift between
the Forga and GRACol versions of ISO implementation.
GRACol is a 'work in-progress' and I also have issues with some of it's
methods and assumptions, but is cannot be dismissed or ignored.
Our clients are printers and their clients who need clarity in this area,
when printing across borders. Drawing lines in the sand, the way this press
release does is not helpful to anyone.
We need ISO to complete the colour managed chain in image production and
enable CMYK images to reproduce with confidence and accuracy in the world
market.
Let GRACol prove their case for grey balance, or not as maybe.
Regards
Paul Sherfield
