Hello list
Can you tell, what is difference between ISOcoated.icc (
www.eci.org
<http://www.eci.org>) and Europe ISO Coated FOGRA27 profiles, which came
with Adobe Photoshop CS2? It is said in ECI Offset 2004 document
"ISOcoated.icc: Paper type 1 and 2, gloss- and matte-coated, 150 lpi
(60/cm), FOGRA27L".
- both Profiles are based on the same Data Set:
<http://www.color.org/FOGRA27.html>
- some users prefer the gamut mapping of the Adobe profile (it is
smoother an produces less hue shifts especially in blue and yellow region)
- the ECI profile has a longer black
- for proofing purposes I prefer the ECI profile, because it's much
closer to the Characterization Data Set:
avg/max Delta E 94 eci: 0,20 / 0,82
avg/max Delta E 94 Adobe: 0,81 / 2,83,
