Amen to that.
Regardless of how many characterization charts are printed and
averaged, a process which is not controlled cannot be color managed.
The problems on the production side of the fence can't be addressed by
ICC color management, averaging features in software, spot spectros,
strip spectros, x-y spectros or any combination thereof
nothwithstanding.
