Hallo Arbeitsgruppe,
Betrifft: Testfiles: TAC und MAX BLACK
Wie verabredet habe ich zwei Testfiles auf dem Server platziert:
Testbilder / TAC und MAX BLACK TEST JB
Es betrifft zwei A4 Formen:
TAC test JB.pdf
MAX BLACK test JB.pdf

TAC test
File name: TAC test JB.pdf
Format: Photoshop PDF (with text layer)
Colour space: CMYK (ISOcoated.icc)
Size: 210 x 297 mm / Resolution 300 dpi
Purpose of this test page:
This test page can be used to analyze the effect of converting the file to CMYK using ICC
profiles with different TAC settings. (E.g. 340% - 320% - 300% - 280% - 260%) and
subsequently printing the resulting files.
The test file was made in CMYK as the effect of different TAC settings in colour profiles
for colour conversion is especially critical in workflows where existing CMYK files have
to be repurposed for printing in a different printing technique or on a different paper
type.
For this purpose the original CMYK test file has to be converted a number of times using
profiles with different TAC settings.
Rendering intent: Relative Colorimetric with Black point Compensation on.
Variations may be made using different rendering settings.
Before conversion please modify the text line at the top of the page according to the
conversion settings you are using in order to enable you to identify the workflow once the
files have been printed.

MAX BLACK test
File name: MAX BLACK test JB.pdf
Format: Photoshop PDF (with text layer)
Colour space: RGB (Adobe RGB)
Size: 210 x 297 mm / Resolution 300 dpi
Purpose of this test page:
This test page can be used to analyze the effect of converting the file to CMYK using ICC
profiles with different Max. black settings. (E.g. 100% - 98% - 95%) and subsequently
printing the resulting files.
For this purpose the original RGB test file has to be converted three times using the
three profiles with different max black settings.
Rendering intent: Relative Colorimetric with Black point Compensation on.
Variations may be made using versions with Perceptual rendering.
Before conversion please modify the text line at the top of the page according to the
conversion settings you are using in order to enable you to identify the workflow once the
files have been printed.
