Access to workspace and timetable

Dear collegues,
Please find as follows some information about our workspace on the
ECI server and the timetable.
We have a restricted area on the ECI webserver for sharing test files
and test results.

The workspace consists of three sections (directories)
- "Chardata_and_Profiles"
This directory contains two subdirectories for the printing
conditions "SC" and "Coated". Per printing condition you will find
the respective characterization data and profiles for testing. Please
upload your profile candidates to this area.
- "Test_Material"
Additional test material is more than welcome - If you want to add
material please create a new subdirectory and upload your test
material to the respective directory. Please honor as a general term
of use (license) that all material is for internal use in our working
group only. Please note that some subdirectories such as the one for
the "VPR" contain special license text.
- "Test_Results"
During the test we certainly will find good and bad results. In order
to easily share individual results with the working group please
upload samples of your findings to respectively named subdirectories
along with a text file explaning your finding.
Timetable
---------------
The initial schedule says profiles available for download by the end
of October.
In order to make sure that our profiles are thoroughly tested I
suppose that this is not realistic. In addition I would like to
strongly recommend test prints with the final release candidate(s) in
order to make sure that some of the print related issues are ok (GCR
issues).
For that reason I would like to propose this still challenging schedule:
- start creating and testing profiles
today, October 24th
- release candidates ready
Friday, November 3rd
- data of test forme sent to printers
Tuesday, November 7th
- Test prints
Wednesday, November 8th through Friday 10th
- Evaluation of test prints
until Wednesday November 15th
- Decision on approval or further editing needed

Wiki zur Working Group Offset Profiles eingerichtet

Liebe WG-Mitglieder,
ab sofort gibt es einen Wiki-Bereich fuer die WG Offset Profiles.
Dieser kann erreicht werden ueber die URL:

Hierfuer ist ein Login erforderlich. Der Name besteht jeweils aus dem
ersten Buchstaben des Vornamens, einem Punkt und dem Nachnamen. Also
z.B.
j.brunenberg
r.keller
a.faber
g.hochstrate
usw.
Das Password lautet
1996
Die o.g. URL ist die Startseite fuer die WG. Es koennen innerhalb
dieses Bereiches ohne weiteres weitere Seiten nach Bedarf angelegt
werden. Hilfestellung beim Wiki-Editieren gib't's bei Bedarf von
Florian oder mir.
Bislang gibt es dort den Mitschrieb des Brainstormings von heute
vormittag sowie die Liste der Mitglieder.
