Hi Sean,
Is there anyway to only show the layers relevant to a
page in the PDF
layer
report in pdfInspektor3_CLI?
Whether there are objects on a layer or not is made visible by the font
style of the layer name. The layer name is bold if there are objects on the
page. It is normal if there are no objects of that layer on the page.
This is the default setting. It can be changed in Acrobat's Layer tab under
Options to List layers for current page to only show the relevant layers per
page.
Both options are Acrobat settings. They can not be saved in a PDF file.
In the PDF Layer plugin for Adobe Acrobat, when you
generate a report it
includes coloured background layers in the report which makes it much
easier
to display errors which are hard to see. The report generated by
pdfInspektor3_CLI has a "Backgrounds layer" but it is empty. Is there
anyway
to include the same sort of coloured back ground layers as the PDF Layer
plugin does?
The background layers should also be inserted in the PDF after the layer
creation as you have seen it in pdfLayerMaker. Could you send us the
original and created PDF as well as your command line call to
support(a)callassoftware.com.
Best Regards,
Steffen
