Hi Olaf,

The MS Outlook software does not have the option to be selective on to whom the out-of-office message is sent.
So until MS will make any changes to this, I have two suggestions:

1. You program your mailserver to ignore all out-of-office or other auto-generated messages.
or
2. You ask all list members to use an alternate email account. I use gmail for this reason.

Hi all,

as you all will probably be able to understand, "Out of office" mails can be annoying at times.

As a consequence, out of office mails sent to this list will be dealt with such that for the account sending them, mail delivery will be disabled without notification. If you have become subject to this measure you will have to re-enable mail delivery yourself.

In addition please understand that discussing the topic of "out of office" mails or related topics on this list is not acceptable. Should you ever feel the need to discuss such a topic, please get in touch with me, or by sending an email to admin@eci.org.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding,
