Dear Sivarasan

This is not the right way, but due to certain unforeseen things we have to make a way out of it.

1. Cover the text area exactly with color patches and go ahead with i1 IO measurement.

2. Take out i1 and measure the individual patches, where the text is creating the problem

Once the measurement is done - replace the values with patch mode values and go for profile making.

Subject: [ECI-EN] Measuring test chart using profilemaker measure tool and        i1io

Dear All

I am trying to measure a custom test chart using i1io and Profilemaker Measure tool.

The problem is the test chart contains some text in it. When i1io reads the chart, the data is transfered to the measure tool. Whenever the measuring head measures the text, some problem occurs and the data transfer is stopped. The measuring head quits measuring and Measure tool says "Too many measurement errors". I used the custom chart option in measure tool to measure this chart. Then, I created a reference file and tried. Same error occured.

I am trying to find out whether there is a way to tell the measure tool and i1io to skip certain patches and measure only the necessary patches. Is there any way, I can put some command in the reference file and say measure only these paches and skip these patches. I hope that I am clear. Please help me in this

Best Regards
