Hi Joey,
Buying ISO conform materials (paper, ink, SW) does not make you an ISO conform printer. You need these too, but what you mainly need a an ISO conform process. This contains well controlled data handling from data entry to contract proof, correct profiles, correct measuring strips etc.
Then you need a good quality proof printer, well maintained plate making equipment and printing press which gives reproducible print results.
When you now use standard procedures which you have developed for your own company and process, make the plates according to the standard, use ISO conform inks and a suitable paper type then you must be able to print within the color and tone value tolerances as specified in ISO12647.
There are many useful software tools on the market, with or without measuring equipment, to help you make things easier, to give more and faster measuring results, to help to check your conformance etc. There is as far as I know no software to convert your plate files from any other profile into an ISO profile, this is something which can only be done in the prepress.
Altogether printing conform ISO12647 is not so difficult, just needs to set up good procedures, discipline to stay in conformance with these procedures, proper education and most of all motivation of the press operators and prepress department (and not to forget the sales
department) and well maintained good quality equipment.
Do not hesitate to contact us for information or support,
Succes.
